Can You Get a Refund on Fanvue? Here's the Tea
Fanvue payments are non-refundable, but a few cases can be reviewed. How to ask within 30 days, and what Fanvue says about chargebacks.
Generally, no: Fanvue's help centre says all payments are non-refundable, including subscriptions, renewals, tips, pay-per-view and direct message purchases. You can ask Fanvue to review your case if you were charged more than once for the same content, a technical error blocked content you paid for, content wasn't as described, or a paid custom request wasn't fulfilled. Ask within 30 days, and contact Fanvue before your bank.
Generally, no. Here's the tea: Fanvue's help centre says every payment on the platform is non-refundable, from subscriptions and renewals to tips, pay-per-view content and direct message purchases. There's a short list of cases Fanvue will review, though, and a clear right way to ask.
๐01. Why Fanvue payments are non-refundable
Fanvue's help centre says digital content is treated differently from physical goods under the law. Once content has been delivered and made available to you, it can't be returned. Fanvue adds that by creating an account and completing a purchase, you agreed to these terms.
It says this is consistent with UK and EU consumer rights law for digital content, where the right of withdrawal doesn't apply once content has been delivered and accessed. The full policy is in Fanvue's Terms & Conditions. If you have a question about your own legal rights, a qualified professional is the right person to ask.
So, per Fanvue, these aren't eligible: subscription payments and renewals, tips sent to a creator, pay-per-view content you've accessed, direct message purchases, and purchases you no longer want or have forgotten about. The same applies if a creator later deletes content or leaves Fanvue. The help centre says that doesn't entitle you to a refund if you were able to view the content before it was removed. If a creator's whole account is terminated, Fanvue adds, any active subscription to them is cancelled automatically and no further payments are taken.
๐02. When Fanvue will review your case
Fanvue calls its policy firm, but its terms let it review cases where the service didn't match what was described or agreed. The help centre says you can contact Fanvue only if you were charged multiple times for the same content, or if a technical error stopped you accessing content you paid for. You can also get in touch if a creator's content was different from how it was described, or if a creator didn't fulfil a paid custom request of yours.
If content was removed before you could access it at all, Fanvue asks for screen recordings or screenshots as proof. Refunds in that situation are at Fanvue's discretion and aren't guaranteed.
Mind the clock. Fanvue says you must raise any query within 30 days of the transaction, and cases raised after that window can't be reviewed.
๐03. How to ask for a review, step by step
Step 1: Contact Fanvue's support team through live chat in the Help Centre, or by email.
Step 2: Include the transaction date, the amount charged and the creator's account handle.
Step 3: Explain what was agreed and what wasn't delivered or was misrepresented. Add screenshots, which Fanvue says help it investigate much quicker.
Step 4: Sit tight. Fanvue's help centre says its team will review your case and respond within 5 business days.
๐04. Why a chargeback isn't the shortcut it looks like
A chargeback is different from a refund. Fanvue's help centre explains that a refund is issued by Fanvue, while a chargeback is started by the fan through their bank. The bank cancels the payment and returns the money, and the amount is reversed from the creator's earnings.
Fanvue asks fans to contact support before going to their bank. Its refund article says a chargeback started without going through Fanvue's dispute process gets your account permanently banned. Its chargeback article says fans who file chargebacks are automatically banned and may lose access to content they've purchased. So start with the review route above.
๐05. Skip the refund conversation altogether
Cancel a little early. Fanvue says to cancel at least 1 or 2 hours before your renewal date, and a free trial you don't cancel converts to a paid subscription at the creator's standard price.
Free trials are still a lovely way to see if the chemistry is there before you pay. On FreeVues, Free Trials & Deals shows creators with a free trial or a deal on right now, with no fan account needed. The trial itself happens on Fanvue.
๐06. The bottom line
Fanvue payments are non-refundable, with a short list of exceptions it will review if you ask within 30 days. Fanvue asks you to go to support with your screenshots before your bank. And cancel a little early, so a renewal never catches you off guard.
