Terms of Service
Effective date: July 15, 2026 · Applies to freevues.com and its subdomains · Operated by Ava Hadley (“FreeVues,” “we,” “us”)
1. What FreeVues is
FreeVues is a free online directory that helps fans discover creators on the Fanvue platform. Every listing exists because the creator chose to connect their Fanvue account. FreeVues is independently created and operated by Ava Hadley and is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with Fanvue. “Fanvue” is a trademark of its respective owner, used here only to describe compatibility. All subscriptions, payments, and content access happen on Fanvue's platform under Fanvue's own terms.
2. You must be an adult
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to access or use FreeVues in any way. By using the site you confirm that you are.
3. For fans and visitors
Browsing FreeVues is free and requires no account. You agree to use the site only for personal, lawful discovery of creators. You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or republish directory data, listings, or photos
- Use the site to harass, stalk, defame, or harm any creator or person
- Probe, disrupt, overload, or attempt to bypass the site's security or access controls
- Misrepresent FreeVues content as your own or use it to build a competing dataset or service
4. For creators
By connecting your Fanvue account and creating a listing, you confirm and agree that:
- The Fanvue account you connect is yours (or you are expressly authorized to manage it)
- You grant the operator a non-exclusive, revocable license to display your public Fanvue profile information (name, handle, photo, bio, price, and public counts) in the directory and in previews of it, for as long as your listing is live
- Social-media promotion is separate and opt-in, off by default: only if you turn on “Promote me on social media” (during signup or in Settings) do you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable license to also feature your public Fanvue photo, bio, and FreeVues link on FreeVues' own social accounts to help fans discover you. You can turn this off anytime in Settings, which ends that license going forward
- Your listing information updates automatically from your Fanvue profile; keeping your Fanvue profile accurate keeps your listing accurate
- You can remove your listing at any time via “Remove my listing,” which ends the license above and deletes your data immediately
We may decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion — for example, if it appears fraudulent, violates these Terms or Fanvue's rules, includes content unsuitable for the directory, or if the connected Fanvue account is closed.
5. Photos and content standards
Listing photos come only from your public Fanvue profile. We may display a neutral placeholder instead of any photo we consider unsuitable for the directory, and featured placements are reviewed before they appear. The directory's presentation is kept safe-for-work; explicit content belongs on Fanvue, not in the directory.
6. Featured placements
Some listings may appear in promoted (“Featured”) positions. Featured placements are paid or otherwise promoted placements and are labeled as such. Featured status affects placement only — it is not an endorsement, ranking of quality, or verification by the directory.
7. Intellectual property
The FreeVues name, logo, design, and software are the property of the operator. Creator names, photos, and profile content remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of anyone's content to anyone else.
8. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect copyright. Listings are built from each creator's own public Fanvue profile, and blog content features creators who opted in — but if you believe something on FreeVues copies your work without permission, tell us and we will act on it.
How to report it. Email dmca@freevues.com with the subject line “DMCA notice” and include:
- The work you say is infringed (a link to the original, or a clear description of it)
- The exact FreeVues URL(s) of the material you want removed, so we can find it
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them
- Your physical or electronic signature
What we do about it. We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within a few business days. When a notice is valid we remove or disable the material — which, for a directory listing, generally means taking the listing down — and we notify the creator whose listing was affected, including a copy of the notice. We keep a record of complaints, and we terminate listings of repeat infringers.
If you think we got it wrong. A creator whose material was removed may send a counter notice to the same address, identifying the removed material and where it appeared, with a statement under penalty of perjury that its removal was a mistake or a misidentification, plus her name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts named in section 15. We may restore the material as permitted by law. Knowingly sending a false notice or counter notice can make you liable for damages.
Content hosted on Fanvue itself is outside our control — a notice about a creator's Fanvue page or the content behind it should go to Fanvue directly. If you also want a listing removed for a non-copyright reason (impersonation, privacy, or a listing that shouldn't be there), use Report a Listing or email legal@freevues.com.
9. Third-party links and platforms
Listings link to profiles on Fanvue, and the site may link to other third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party platform, including Fanvue. Your use of Fanvue is governed entirely by Fanvue's own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers
FreeVues is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of listing data (which comes from Fanvue), availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee any creator, and we are not a party to any interaction, subscription, or transaction between fans and creators.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of FreeVues. To the extent any liability is not excludable, our total liability for all claims relating to FreeVues is limited to one hundred US dollars (US $100) — reflecting that FreeVues is a free service.
12. Indemnity
If you use FreeVues in violation of these Terms or the law and that causes a third-party claim against the operator, you agree to indemnify the operator for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.
13. Termination
You can stop using FreeVues at any time; creators can remove their listings at any time. We may suspend or terminate access or listings at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the service, creators, or visitors. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12) survive termination.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be reasonably highlighted. Using FreeVues after changes take effect means the updated Terms apply to you.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
