Privacy Policy

FreeVues is operated by Ava Hadley, doing business as FreeVues, an individual operator based in Massachusetts, USA. For anything privacy-related, contact us at privacy@freevues.com. For data-protection purposes under the EU and UK GDPR, the operator is the data controller for the information described in this policy.

When a creator clicks “Connect with Fanvue,” they approve the connection on Fanvue's own screen. Through that connection, Fanvue provides us with the creator's public profile information:

• Display name and Fanvue handle (username)
• Public profile photo
• Public bio text
• Subscription price, free-trial and free-page status
• Public counts: fans, likes, photos, and videos
• Category/niche and country, where available

When a creator connects, we read the public profile information above once and then discard the connection token — by default we keep no ongoing access to the Fanvue account. The one exception is opt-in and off by default: only if a creator turns on “Keep my stats fresh” in their dashboard do we store a single Fanvue refresh token, encrypted on our servers, and use it only to update that creator's own public stats and profile photo once a day. That token is never used for anything else, and it is deleted immediately when the creator turns the setting off or removes their listing. We never receive or store Fanvue passwords. We do not access private messages, private content, earnings details, or payment information.

When an agency admin clicks “Connect with Fanvue,” they approve the connection on Fanvue's own screen, the same way a creator does. Through that connection Fanvue provides us with:

• The agency's Fanvue identity and display name
• The contact email of the admin who connected it
• The list of creators Fanvue reports as managed by the agency (their handles and public profile details), re-read on each sign-in
• A connection credential from the admin's sign-in, stored encrypted, which we use to keep the agency's creators' public stats fresh each day and to re-read the roster; it is deleted when the agency deletes its account, and automatically the moment Fanvue stops honouring it

An agency can delete its FreeVues account at any time from Settings; that removes the agency, its roster and team records, tasks and any stored credential immediately. The creators it managed keep their own listings. An agency record that never listed a creator, has no team and no stored credential, and has not signed in for 30 days is deleted automatically.

Fans do not create accounts on FreeVues. We do not ask visitors for names, emails, or payment details. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process basic technical data needed to deliver the website — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — in server logs. To understand overall traffic we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal data, and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Three things go further than that, and all three are described in full below: the crush cookie, browser notifications if you switch them on, and our optional Telegram bot for fans if you choose to use it. None is used for advertising, none is sold, and none is shared with other websites.

The first exception exists only to keep creators' crush counts honest: when you send a crush 💘 we set a single cookie containing a random number — no name, no email, no account — so the same browser cannot crush the same creator twice. We also record a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address to limit how many crushes can come from one connection. The address itself is never stored, the scrambled value changes every day so it cannot be used to follow you, and these records are deleted after a week. We use them for nothing else — not analytics, not advertising, and never to build a profile of you.

The second exception is notifications, and nothing is stored unless you switch them on. You have to tap “Turn on” — on the My Picks page, on your match results, or on the prompt inside the installed FreeVues app — and then allow notifications in your browser's own permission box. If you do, we save one record for that browser: the notification address your browser's push service gives us, the two keys your browser generates so a message can be encrypted to it, a note that this is a fan (rather than a creator) subscription, and the browser-and-device description your browser sends with every request. If you have saved creators to My Picks on that device, that list of saved creators is stored with it too, as it stood at the moment you switched notifications on, so a notification only goes out about someone you actually picked.

We use that record for one thing: sending you notifications — a creator you saved starting a free trial, dropping a promo, or being featured in a new post, plus the occasional announcement about FreeVues itself. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and it does not tell us your name, your email, or who you are. It is still tied to one browser and can carry a list of creators you like, so we won't pretend it is anonymous: it is a short preference list attached to a device, kept only because you asked for the notifications.

You can stop it at any time. Turning the notifications toggle off on the My Picks page deletes that record straight away. You can also switch notifications off for FreeVues in your browser or device settings; we then delete the record the next time a notification cannot be delivered.

FreeVues has an optional Telegram bot for fans. You do not need it to use the website, nothing happens unless you start it yourself, and it never asks for a name, an email, or an account.

Everywhere else on FreeVues, the answers you give in the match quiz are used to build your matches and then discarded — never saved to an account, never written to any database, never logged, never linked to you. The bot is the one exception, and it has to be: to reply to you at all it has to remember your chat. So if you use the bot, this is what we store, in full — the ID Telegram assigns to your chat with the bot, so we can reply to you; the answers you tap in the bot's preference questions; and whether you asked for alerts, which is off unless you turn it on. Nothing else.

In particular, we do not store your Telegram username, your display name, your phone number, your profile photo, or your language — Telegram sends some of that to us with every message and we do not read it. We do not store anything you type to the bot: it works by buttons and slash commands, and free text is discarded. We do not record which creators you open from it, and the creator links it sends you carry no code or tag that could connect a visit back to your chat.

We use that record for two things only: working out which creators to suggest to you, and — if and only if you turned alerts on — sending you the occasional FreeVues announcement. Alerts are off by default; you have to tap “Yes, send me alerts” before anything is ever sent. You can turn them off again at any time with /notify.

We never tell a creator anything about an individual fan. A creator cannot learn that you exist, what you told the bot you like, or that you looked at her listing. Creators and our own admin screens only ever see totals, such as how many fans use the bot.

Sending the bot /stop deletes your record immediately and completely — not hidden, not switched off, deleted, including the fact that you were ever there. If you block the bot in Telegram we treat that the same way and delete the record. Otherwise we keep it for as long as you keep using the bot, because it is the thing that makes it work.

The bot is operated by us through Telegram. Your messages to it also pass through Telegram's own service, which handles them under Telegram's privacy policy, not this one — the same as any other Telegram chat.

• To display creator listings and keep them in sync with the creator's current Fanvue profile
• To review listings and featured placements for suitability (see “Photos”)
• To operate, secure, and improve the website
• To label promoted (“Featured”) placements as such
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use the information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Profile photos come exclusively from the creator's public Fanvue profile — creators cannot upload photos to FreeVues directly, and Fanvue requires public profile photos to follow its own content rules. We may review listings (including photos) from time to time, and featured placements are reviewed before they appear. We may display a neutral placeholder instead of any photo we consider unsuitable for the directory.

Promoting you on FreeVues' own social media is separate and opt-in, off by default. Only if you turn on “Promote me on social media” (during signup or in your dashboard Settings) will we feature your public Fanvue photo, bio, and FreeVues link on FreeVues' social accounts to help fans find you. We record when you opt in, only ever use your public profile info, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings.

• Consent — a creator's listing exists only because they connected their Fanvue account, and they can withdraw consent at any time by removing the listing (Article 6(1)(a)).
• Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and measuring the website, and reviewing listings for suitability (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law (Article 6(1)(c)).

We share information only with the service providers that make the website run, and only so they can provide their service to us:

• Website hosting (currently Vercel Inc., USA)
• Database hosting (currently Supabase Inc., USA)
• Analytics (currently Plausible Analytics, EU — Germany) — cookieless, no personal data

These providers act on our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of creators, visitors, or the public. If FreeVues is ever involved in a merger or sale, listing data may transfer with the business, under this same policy.

Our servers and providers are located in the United States. If you connect from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your information is processed in the USA. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses adopted by our providers.

• Creator listings: for as long as the listing is live. Removing a listing deletes the profile data and access token immediately.
• Telegram bot (fans): for as long as you keep using it. Sending /stop, or blocking the bot, deletes the whole record immediately.
• Agency accounts: for as long as the agency stays connected. Deleting the account from Settings removes the agency, its roster and team records, its tasks and its stored credential immediately; an agency that never listed a creator, has no team and no stored credential, and has not signed in for 30 days is removed automatically.
• Server logs and technical data: retained by our infrastructure providers for short, standard periods (typically 30–90 days).
• Legal records: only if and as long as the law requires.

Any creator can remove their listing at any time using the “Remove my listing” link in the site footer — one click, no questions, immediate deletion of their profile data and connection credentials. You can also email privacy@freevues.com and we will delete your data within 30 days at the latest.

One thing survives: we keep your handle on a short do-not-contact list, so that removing your listing also means we never add you back or approach you again.

Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, and certain US states such as California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@freevues.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

FreeVues is strictly for adults. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use this website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

FreeVues does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use only first-party, functional cookies and similar browser storage:

Age-gate confirmation — stored in your browser's own local storage (not a cookie; it never leaves your device): remembers you confirmed you're 18+, so the gate doesn't reappear on every visit.

fv_creator (creators only) — signs a creator's login session so she stays logged in to her own dashboard. Set only after a creator logs in with Fanvue; contains no password and only works for her own account.

fv_ref — a first-party functional cookie that remembers which creator referred you (from their invite link) so we can credit them when you join. It stores only the referrer's public handle, lasts 30 days, and is never used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Analytics: we use Plausible, which is cookieless — no analytics cookies are set at all.

If our use of cookies ever changes beyond this, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent first.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top and, for significant changes affecting creators, make reasonable efforts to notify listed creators. Continued use of FreeVues after changes means the updated policy applies.
