Fanvue Management Agency Fees: How to Compare the Real Cost
Understand gross versus net commissions, retainers, extra charges, and the questions to ask before paying a team to manage your Fanvue page.
There is no single agency fee that applies to every Fanvue creator. Compare the commission base, included services, fixed charges, and approved extras. Fanvue’s platform deduction and an agency’s commission are separate, so model what you keep under the proposed agreement before signing.
An agency says it takes a percentage and handles your Fanvue account. Before deciding whether that is fair, find out what the percentage applies to and what the team actually does. A small-looking commission can be expensive when it covers every sale but only buys limited support.
💜01. Ask what income the commission covers
- Gross sales: fan spending before Fanvue’s platform deduction.
- Creator earnings: the amount left after specified platform deductions.
- All account revenue: subscriptions, PPV, tips, and other included income streams.
- Limited work: only the revenue or services defined in the agreement.
Do not accept “net” without a written definition. Which deductions count? How are refunds or adjustments handled? Does the fee apply to fans you brought in before the agency joined? When is the bill calculated and what records can you check?
💜02. A hypothetical example: the base changes the bill
Suppose a month has $1,000 in qualifying Fanvue sales at the standard 80% creator share. That leaves $800 before other adjustments. If a hypothetical agency charges 20% of gross sales, its fee is $200 and you keep $600 before other business costs. If it charges 20% of that $800 instead, its fee is $160 and you keep $640.
The 20% agency rate here is only an example, not a market average or a recommended rate. Actual offers vary. Apply the agency’s exact calculation to your own recent statements so you can see the difference.

💜03. Check what is included for an adult Fanvue page
Ask whether the fee covers fan messaging, PPV preparation, content planning, caption writing, promotion, and reports. Then ask about coverage hours, the number of people working on your page, and what happens when someone is away. An agency promising “full management” should define those words.
Clarify which costs need your approval: editing, extra chatters, production, software, or campaigns. Agree who can change prices or offer discounts. No one should improve a sales report by quietly promising customs or interactions you will not provide.
💜04. Measure the value after the fee
Compare take-home earnings, hours saved, fan complaints, content consistency, and renewal results using the data available. Keep a baseline from before management. A sales increase after a busy shoot or a promotion does not prove the agency alone caused it.
💜05. Know what happens when you leave
Check the notice period, any post-termination commission, outstanding charges, and the handover of content schedules and reports. Make the approval process and exit costs clear before access starts. Have a qualified adviser review terms you do not understand.

💜06. Try a FreeVues growth routine before taking on a commission
If you need direction and discovery more than someone running your inbox, begin with your free FreeVues listing and the 30-Day Glow-Up once onboarding unlocks it. Follow the daily actions, keep track of your work, and see which tasks still need outside help. That gives you a clearer brief before agreeing to a recurring agency charge.

We’re also the team behind ShareYourFans®, a separate option for creator collaborations and paid promotions. A defined promo purchase may solve a narrower reach problem; it is a campaign cost, not a commission for managing your whole Fanvue account.
Quick answers
💬What is a normal Fanvue agency commission?
There is no universal rate established here. Request a written quote, define the income it applies to, and compare the services and total costs across offers.
💬Is agency commission charged before or after Fanvue’s share?
That depends on the agreement. Ask for a worked example showing gross sales, platform deductions, the agency charge, and what is left for you.
💬Can an agency charge me after I leave?
An agreement may contain continuing charges or commission terms. Review the exact clause, duration, and scope with a qualified adviser before signing.
