Elettra Fawn on Fanvue: The Side You Never See

Okay so—I've interviewed a lot of creators, and most of them tell me about the shoot. Elettra Fawn told me about her laundry. 🧺 And somehow I came away rating her even more. Let me explain.

But the thing I want to talk about is the part of her life that never makes it into a photo. Which, as a fellow creator, is my favorite kind of gossip. 😏

💜01. The girl in the photos is a choice

You know the look. Soft light, an open robe, that glance back at the camera. Elettra knows you know it. Her words, not mine 😌: people "decide I'm always that calm, always that confident, always that intentional."

Her answer to that? "It isn't true." She says most days she's quieter than that. She second-guesses things. She wears the same sweater for three days. Some days she gets tired of her own face in the mirror and closes the laptop.

Honestly? Same, babe. 🙋‍♀️ I have a sweater too.

But here's the line I keep coming back to. The girl in the photos is real, she says, but she's "a choice I make, not the default state of my life." So when she does look back at the camera, it's deliberate. She's choosing you. Sit with that for a second. 💋

💜02. Her mornings are a secret she keeps

The part fans never see is a quiet morning with nothing to do with the camera. She makes coffee the slow way, still in the oversized shirt she slept in, hair a mess, no makeup, no jewelry. Then she sits by the window with her laptop closed and just... exists. Sometimes she reads. Sometimes she does nothing at all.

She calls herself "completely unperformed" in those moments, and says the ordinary mornings are the part she keeps for herself. ☕ So no, you don't get that one. I respect the boundary. I also want it a little more now, which I'm sure is a coincidence.

💜03. Butter, laundry and a very specific talent

Away from all of it, she cooks badly and with too much butter. 🧈 She puts on an old playlist, opens the windows even when it's cold, and makes something that will probably stick to the pan. She's barefoot, her hair clip is falling out, and she's tasting straight from the spoon. Her words: "me being ordinary on purpose."

Then there's laundry on Tuesdays. Same detergent, same basket with a broken handle, sitting on the floor while the machine runs. She protects it on purpose. Which is the most relatable thing a glam girl has ever said to me.

And the weirdly good bit: she remembers how light falls in a room she's only been in once. She'll clock where the sun hits the wall at 4 p.m. and which corner stays soft. It's why she can walk onto a new set and know where she wants to stand before anyone says a word. "My eyes just keep the map." 🌅 Translation: she knows exactly where to put herself so you'll look. Dangerous.

💜04. The names only she can read

One last bit of tea, and it's my favorite. She keeps a short list in her notes app of the names she almost used for herself, written in a language only she understands. Some soft, some sharper. None of them ever leave the phone. 🤫

She opens the list when the day's been loud, just to remember those versions still exist. So there's an Elettra you'll never meet, and I find that weirdly hot.
