Fanvue Account Hacked? What to Do Right Now
Fanvue account hacked or can't log in? The recovery steps from Fanvue's help centre, fixes for common login errors, 2FA and how to spot phishing.
If your Fanvue account is hacked, set a new, strong password straight away, or use "Forgotten password?" on the sign-in page if you're locked out. Once back in, log out of all devices and sessions and turn on 2FA. Still locked out? Contact Fanvue Support with your registered email and details confirming you're the owner.
A hacked Fanvue account needs action fast, because your page, your fan messages and your earnings all sit behind that login. Fanvue's help centre sets out a clear order: secure the password, end any session you don't recognise, then bring in Support.
๐01. What should you do first if your Fanvue account is hacked?
If your Fanvue account is hacked, Fanvue's March 2026 login article gives these steps, in order.
Step 1: Set a new, strong password immediately. Fanvue's help centre points to the Password & Security section under Account in Settings.
Step 2: If you can't log in at all, go to Fanvue's sign-in page and click "Forgotten password?". Enter your email and follow the reset link.
Step 3: Once you're back in, go to the Account Info section of Settings and select "Log out of all devices and sessions". This ends any active sessions you don't recognise.
Step 4: If you still can't get back in, contact Fanvue Support. Include your registered email and any details that confirm you're the account owner, explain your situation, and Fanvue says its team will take it from there.
Fanvue's older October 2023 article adds that you can reach Support through live chat.
๐02. Can't log in to Fanvue? Match the problem to the fix
Not every lockout is a hack. Fanvue's March 2026 login article lists several everyday login problems, each with its own fix.
Password reset email not arriving? Check your spam and junk folders first. If it isn't there, try any other email address you might have signed up with, and contact Support if nothing turns up.
Seeing "This user did not sign up with email and password"? You registered with Google, X or another social login. Go back to the login page and use that sign-in button rather than typing an email and password. If you've lost the Google or X account itself, Fanvue says to recover it through that company's support first.
Gmail address showing without its dot? Fanvue says that's expected, because Google doesn't register dots in email addresses. Your account works normally, you'll still get all your emails, and nothing needs fixing.
Seeing "This email cannot be used", or can't sign in at all? Check your inbox and spam folder for a message from Fanvue, and look through any past support chats. Fanvue says that if an account is restricted, its team has contacted the owner by email. Our post "Fanvue Account Restricted? What It Means and What to Do" covers what happens next.
Lost access to the email on your account? Fanvue's March 2026 email article says the registered email can't be changed, because it's connected to your identity on the platform and your Fanvue wallet. It says restoring the email through your email provider is the only way back in. The login article, from the same month, says to contact Fanvue Support with details that confirm ownership, such as your display name or username.
๐03. How do you turn on two-factor authentication on Fanvue?
As of July 2025, Fanvue's help centre said two-factor authentication (2FA) is switched on in the Password & Security section under Account in Settings, where you also manage your password. If you joined with a Google or X login, it said you need to set a password before 2FA becomes available.
As of March 2025, Fanvue's phishing guide also listed 2FA as a way to secure your account. For a creator, that means protecting the login your page and earnings sit behind.
Plan for losing your phone. The July 2025 article warned that if you lose access to the device storing your 2FA codes, you'll need to contact Support and verify your identity to get back in. It also said management and agency accounts can't switch 2FA on, so your own creator login is where it counts.
๐04. How can creators tell a real Fanvue email from phishing?
Real Fanvue emails come only from a verifiable @fanvue.com address, according to Fanvue's March 2025 phishing guide. The guide describes phishing as fraudsters posing as trusted platforms like Fanvue to steal personal data, login details or financial information, with messages built to look real.
Its link check is quick. Authentic Fanvue links have domains like fanvue.com, so hover over any link to see where it really goes, and skip links with misspellings or extra characters. The guide also said Fanvue never sends in-app messages, and its example scam was a message sent inside Fanvue by someone posing as Fanvue.
Fanvue also said it won't ask for passwords or personal details through unsolicited messages. If a message pushes you to open a link with a threat, or asks for your login, leave it unclicked and unanswered.
The same March 2025 guide said to mark the message as spam, which blocks whoever sent it, then send Fanvue Support a screenshot. If you lost money, Fanvue's advice was to contact your bank and the police where you live straight away, and it warned it can't be held responsible for money lost to scams.
Someone copying your page? As of August 2025, Fanvue said to check the address first. A page that doesn't start with fanvue.com isn't a Fanvue profile, Fanvue can't take it down, and the website host's support team is the one to contact. A fanvue.com page pretending to be you goes straight to Fanvue's support team through live chat.
๐05. What FreeVues can and can't reach
Connecting a FreeVues listing works like "Sign in with Google": the approval happens on Fanvue's own screen, and FreeVues never sees your Fanvue password. FreeVues also never accesses your messages, fans or payments, and never posts to your page.
Your listing is free with no time limit. If someone changed your Fanvue photo or bio, fix it on Fanvue first, then log in to FreeVues: your card re-syncs your photo, banner, bio and stats each time you log in.

๐06. Keep it from happening again
Choose a strong password, switch on 2FA, and keep your login to yourself: an agency can use a Fanvue manager account, which Fanvue described in June 2025 as built for agencies. As of March 2025, Fanvue said it never sends in-app messages, so be wary of any message from an account posing as Fanvue. Check where a link really goes before you click it.
Quick answers
๐ฌWhat do I do if my Fanvue account was hacked?
Set a new, strong password straight away, or use "Forgotten password?" on Fanvue's sign-in page if you're locked out. Once back in, log out of all devices and sessions. If you still can't get in, contact Fanvue Support with your registered email and ownership details.
๐ฌHow do I log out of all devices on Fanvue?
Fanvue's March 2026 login article points to the Account Info section of Settings, where you select "Log out of all devices and sessions". That ends active sessions you don't recognise, so do it as soon as you're back in after a suspected hack.
๐ฌCan I change my Fanvue email address?
No. As of March 2026, Fanvue said it isn't currently possible, because the email is connected to your identity and your Fanvue wallet. Its email article says restoring the email through your provider is the only way back in, while its login article says to contact Fanvue Support with ownership details.
๐ฌHow do I reset my Fanvue password?
Go to Fanvue's sign-in page, click "Forgotten password?", enter your email and follow the reset link. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam and junk folders, try any other address you signed up with, then contact Fanvue Support.
๐ฌWhat if someone is pretending to be me on Fanvue?
As of August 2025, Fanvue said to check the page's address. If it doesn't start with fanvue.com, Fanvue can't remove it, so contact that website's host. If it's a fanvue.com page impersonating you, contact Fanvue's support team through live chat immediately.
