Fanvue Account Restricted? What It Means and What to Do
Why Fanvue restricts or suspends accounts, the steps its help centre gives to regain access, and the rules that keep your page compliant.
Fanvue's help centre says accounts are often restricted over flagged content or guideline problems, such as content featuring someone who isn't verified, AI images that don't meet its age-representation rules, or inappropriate content. To regain access, check your email for Fanvue's message, fix the flagged issue or send the missing verification documents, and contact support if it isn't resolved.
If your Fanvue account is restricted, Fanvue's help centre says it's often down to flagged content or not following its guidelines. Common triggers include content featuring someone who isn't verified, AI images that don't meet its age-representation rules, and inappropriate content. The good news is that the help centre lays out steps to regain access. Here's what it says, and how to stay clear of trouble next time.
๐01. First, find out what happened
Start with your inbox. Fanvue's login help says that if your account has been restricted for any reason, its team has contacted you by email. Check your spam folder too, and look back through any support chats you've had with Fanvue.
If you can still log in, Fanvue's linked accounts guide says you can check your account status under Settings โ Account Health. If you've heard nothing from Fanvue and believe it's a mistake, the help centre says to contact support.
Don't panic-click, either. Fanvue's compliance guide, as of September 2025, warns that repeatedly clicking transaction buttons can trigger a temporary account lock through its safety systems. If something's wrong, it says contacting support is faster and safer than retrying.
๐02. Restricted, suspended or banned?
Fanvue's help centre covers these in different articles. A restriction is tied to flagged content or guideline problems, and it comes with steps to restore the account.
Suspensions have their own list of common causes, as of June 2025. They include fraudulent spending, like suspicious transactions or unusual spending patterns. They also include spamming, posting inappropriate content or breaking platform rules, and breaking the terms and conditions, such as illegal activity or hate speech.
Two more causes are worth knowing. Submitting false or inconsistent ID or face pictures during verification leads to suspension, as does uploading content that doesn't match the verified person without following Fanvue's co-authored content policy. Fraud in associated accounts counts too, and Fanvue says accounts can be linked through things like the same payment information or similar usernames and email addresses.
If you're suspended, Fanvue's advice is to contact support for more information.
๐03. How to regain access
Fanvue's help centre gives different fixes depending on the reason for the restriction.
If the problem is someone featured in your content, provide valid photo ID for every person featured and submit signed consent forms that match those IDs. Fanvue also asks for headshots and body shots of featured creators, including identity markers like tattoos.
For content with other real people going forward, Fanvue's route is for each person to create their own Fanvue creator account and complete ID verification, and for you to tag them when you upload. If that isn't possible, you send model release forms and the required documents to Fanvue's support team.
If the concern is age appearance, Fanvue says to change profile pictures or uploaded images to ones reflecting adults aged at least 20 to 22. Avoid wording, themes or props that suggest anyone isn't an adult. Fanvue's own example is writing "woman" instead of "girl".
If it's still unresolved, contact Fanvue's support team. The help centre says support can manually process your documents or escalate your case for review. Fanvue's restriction article adds that after recovery, future violations will result in permanent suspension without a chance for reactivation.
๐04. Know the content rules
As of June 2025, Fanvue's help centre said it accepts most styles of content, but a select number are prohibited because of regulations, laws and restrictions. As long as what you share follows its Acceptable Use Policy, Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines, the choice is yours.
Its list of what you can't sell, as of August 2025, starts with illegal content. That includes non-consensual content, illegal drug use, glorifying weapons or violence, and content of a religious nature.
The list also rules out content featuring people who haven't given documented consent or completed Fanvue's ID verification. Pirated or stolen content is out too, such as screen recordings, reposted clips or downloads from other platforms.
Fanvue is digital-only, so physical goods like merchandise, clothing or art prints can't be sold, and neither can in-person meet-ups. Some higher-risk categories are allowed only with limits or extra review, including AI-generated likenesses, which must follow transparency and consent rules.
One more to know: Fanvue's help centre quotes a snippet of its Acceptable Use Policy, as of October 2023, saying not to upload, post or share content recorded in, or broadcast from, a public place where members of the public are visible.
๐05. Habits that keep your account safe
As of September 2025, Fanvue's compliance guide boils it down to a few habits. Keep payments and content sharing on Fanvue, and never send or accept money off-platform, whether someone offers PayPal, crypto or another method.
Don't take conversations off Fanvue, don't offer to meet in person, and say no to strange offers or "deals" in chat, like splitting money. Only promise what you can deliver, and remember you don't have to say yes to every request.
Fanvue's selling rules also rule out misleading pricing, hidden fees and deceptive sales tactics. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, Fanvue suggests contacting support for clarification before you post.
Finally, stay on top of warnings. Fanvue says to address warnings and flagged content immediately to avoid permanent suspension, and to check its policies page or support for updates on current guidelines.
๐06. Getting listed free on FreeVues
On FreeVues, you stay in control of your listing. Taking it down is one tap to confirm on Fanvue. Your card disappears right away, your data gets deleted, and you're free to return whenever you like.
Joining is just as simple. FreeVues is a free directory for Fanvue creators, not affiliated with Fanvue, and it takes under a minute: one tap links your Fanvue account, and your card is built from your public profile. There's no fee and no time limit.

๐07. One honest tip
Treat every warning as urgent, even a small one. Fanvue's help centre is clear that a restored account doesn't get endless chances. When you're unsure about a piece of content, ask Fanvue support before you post it. A short wait costs far less than losing your page.
