โœจ Quick Answer

A Fanvue creator may not be replying because creators are independent and set their own availability, and Fanvue doesn't require replies within a specific timeframe. Blue ticks mean they read it; that's their choice, not a sign of a problem with your account. If you can't message at all, the creator may limit messages to subscribers. A subscription doesn't guarantee a personal reply.

Sent a sweet message and heard nothing back? It stings. Fanvue's help centre says creators are independent: they set their own schedules and availability, and Fanvue doesn't require them to reply within a specific timeframe. Here's how to read the signs, and what you can actually do.

๐Ÿ’œ01. Why a creator might not have replied

Fanvue's article on this, updated in March 2026, says a creator may simply be busy, away, taking time off, or managing a high volume of messages. If your message shows as delivered or read, the creator has received it.

If it's been read and there's still no reply, Fanvue puts it plainly: that's the creator's choice. It doesn't mean something is wrong with your account, and it doesn't mean you've been blocked.

๐Ÿ’œ02. What the ticks mean

One grey tick means your message hasn't been delivered yet. Two grey ticks mean it's been delivered. Blue ticks mean it's been read.

Fanvue says tick colour only shows delivery and read status, nothing else. Grey or blue ticks don't mean you've been blocked, muted or restricted. So a read receipt is information, not a verdict.

๐Ÿ’œ03. When you can't message at all

It comes down to the creator's settings. Fanvue says some take messages only from subscribers, others from followers who send a gift or tip. No message box at all? That probably means subscribers only, so you'd have to subscribe first.

Only following for free? As of June 2025, Fanvue's help centre said that's the creator's call too: with Follow for Free switched on, they could decide whether followers may message them. Once a subscription ends, your chat history stays in your inbox, though the creator's settings may stop you sending anything new.

If messages suddenly stop going through, or the chat disappears, Fanvue says the creator may have restricted who can message them, or blocked you. Either way, you won't get a notification. If you believe it's a mistake, Fanvue's support team can take a look.

Already subscribed and still can't send? Fanvue suggests logging out and back in, trying a different browser (preferably Google Chrome) or clearing your cache and cookies, and turning off VPN and incognito mode.

๐Ÿ’œ04. What you can do, and what a subscription covers

Fanvue's help centre gives you three options. Give it some time. Check the creator's profile or bio, since some creators post updates about their availability or response times there. Or archive the chat to clear it from your active inbox; archiving moves it out of view without deleting it.

Just want the notifications to stop? Fanvue says you can mute the chat from the three-dot menu at the top of the conversation. The messages stay there and you can still read them, but new ones won't alert you.

Hoping for a refund instead? The tea is short: Fanvue's answer is no. Its help centre says a subscription buys access to the creator's account, with no promise of a personal reply, and Fanvue won't refund you solely because a creator hasn't answered.

Paid promises are different. If a creator explicitly promised specific content or a custom request in exchange for payment and didn't deliver, Fanvue says that's a different matter. Its refund article says Fanvue can review those cases if you contact support within 30 days of the transaction, with the date, amount, the creator's handle and screenshots.

๐Ÿ’œ05. Do creators use AI to reply?

Some creators have the option. Fanvue offers creators AI Messaging tools that can draft a new message, draft a reply to a fan, or polish something the creator already wrote. Fanvue says the reply mode is rolling out gradually, so it may not be available to every creator yet.

Fanvue's guide tells creators to use AI for volume and speed, and to save their own voice for the moments that matter most. None of that tells you how any one creator runs their inbox, so treat it as background, not an explanation.

๐Ÿ’œ06. While you wait

Send one friendly, specific message, then give it room. Check the bio for availability notes, and archive the thread if waiting is getting in your head. Meanwhile, nothing stops you finding someone new: FreeVues' Surprise Me opens a random creator's profile, free, with no fan account needed.
