โœจ Quick Answer

To give an agency access to your Fanvue without sharing your password, use a Fanvue manager account. Either you or the agency can send an invite by email, and whoever receives it accepts it on Fanvue. As of June 2025, Fanvue said manager accounts can't access payouts, change your email or password, or delete your account.

A Fanvue manager account lets an agency or manager work on your account without your password. As of June 2025, Fanvue's help centre described the manager working from their own login, with firm limits on what they can touch.

๐Ÿ’œ01. How do Fanvue manager accounts work?

Fanvue's June 2025 manager article described Manager Accounts as a feature for agencies and managers who handle several creator profiles. One manager login can oversee all of them, and it switches between accounts without logging out or opening a separate browser window for each.

The agency first opens its own manager account on Fanvue. Nothing connects to your account unless you send an invite or accept one.

๐Ÿ’œ02. How do I add a manager to Fanvue without sharing my password?

Adding a Fanvue manager starts with an invite, which you can send yourself or receive from the agency. As of June 2025, Fanvue's help centre said an invite you send goes to the email address the agency's manager account is registered with. Its steps were these.

Step 1: Ask the agency for the exact email address its manager account was registered with. The invite has to go to that address.

Step 2: On your creator account, open Settings โ†’ Management.

Step 3: Enter the agency's email address and click "Send Invite" before you leave the page.

Step 4: The manager receives an email with a confirmation link. They must be logged in to the manager account when they click it, or they'll see an error.

None of these steps involves your password. An agency needs a separate invite for every creator it manages.

If the agency sends the invite instead, you're the one who accepts. Check your email for the invite, then accept the request on Fanvue.

๐Ÿ’œ03. What can a Fanvue manager or chatter do?

A Fanvue manager account comes with limits built in. As of June 2025, Fanvue's help centre said it has no access to payouts, can't change your email address or password, and can't delete your account.

Your payout details are covered in a newer article too. Fanvue's payout options article says only the creator can add, change, set as default or delete payout methods, and it answers no when asked whether an agency or manager can. Nor can your earnings be routed to a manager: the article rules out payouts to any account held in another person's name, managers and agencies included, even with your permission.

Agencies can also add team members, which Fanvue calls chatters. The June 2025 article said a team member can use the main feed, messages and the vault, but can't delete or post content in the vault, or publish content on a creator's behalf. It summed up their role as chatting and content review.

As of June 2025, Fanvue said team members could, by default, reach every creator account under that manager account. To narrow that, it described creating separate manager accounts for specific creators and inviting team members only to the relevant one. Fanvue's September 2025 compliance guide said you stay in control whether you work solo or with others, so ask your agency how its team is set up today.

The same June 2025 article said only one manager account can be assigned per creator, and that Fanvue was working on a feature to allow multiple administrators.

๐Ÿ’œ04. Why a shared password is the risky route

Fanvue's manager-account limits belong to the manager account, not to anyone signed in with your own password. Someone using your email and password is simply signed in as you, so those limits aren't built to apply.

That matters because some changes can't be undone. In July 2025, Fanvue's help centre warned that deleting an account removes it and all associated data forever.

Whatever happens while someone is signed in as you happens on your account, and it stays tied to you. Fanvue's August 2026 tax forms article also rules out selling or handing over an account: the tax information has to belong to the person who passed identity verification.

Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for your own creator login: the same July 2025 article said manager and agency accounts can't switch it on. The setting sits in the Password & Security section under Account in Settings, according to Fanvue's help centre. Keep the device that holds your 2FA codes safe too, since the article said losing access to it means contacting Support and verifying your identity.

If an agency already has your password, move the agency to a manager account, then change your password in that same Password & Security section. The Account Info section of Settings shows the email linked to your account and also lets you log out of all devices and sessions. Our post "Fanvue Account Hacked? What to Do Right Now" covers the full recovery steps.

Fanvue's help centre doesn't cover ending a manager's access. As of June 2025, it pointed to Settings โ†’ Management for sending invites, so check there or contact Fanvue Support.

๐Ÿ’œ05. No password needed on FreeVues either

FreeVues also works without your Fanvue password: you approve the connection on a Fanvue screen, much like "Sign in with Google". Your password never reaches FreeVues, and FreeVues never opens your messages, fans or payments, or posts anything.

Your listing is free, takes under a minute to set up and has no time limit. If an agency manages you on Fanvue, the agency admin's Fanvue sign-in lists its roster. You can remove that agency in your FreeVues Settings, though if you're still on its Fanvue roster, its next roster check can restore its access, and you'll be notified.

๐Ÿ’œ06. Keep your login yours

Use a manager account instead of handing over your login. If you send an invite, double-check the email address before you send it, then ask your agency who on its team can reach your account. Keep 2FA switched on for your own login, and change your password if it was ever shared.
