Get on the FreeVues Leaderboards and Round-ups

FreeVues, a free directory of Fanvue creators that is independent of Fanvue, runs Leaderboards that rank listed creators on things that actually happened. To get on the FreeVues Leaderboards, you need real activity around your listing, because no editor picks who appears and no one can pay for a position. Round-ups, FreeVues' niche articles, work separately: you can opt into the monthly ones.

💜01. How do you get on the FreeVues Leaderboards?

Creators get on the FreeVues Leaderboards through activity on FreeVues: click-throughs to Fanvue, crushes, dashboard visits and referrals. The Leaderboards page has five boards: Creators of the Day, Active Today, Today's Crushes, Most crushed of all time (headed Fan Favourites) and Top Referrers. Each board shows up to five creators, and the page says no editor chooses who appears.

Fanvue has its own version of this idea, and it works differently. Fanvue's help centre says its Suggested Creators tabs spotlight accounts doing well or growing fast over a period, placed automatically, with no application process. The FreeVues boards only count activity on FreeVues, and none of them ranks creators by Fanvue earnings, subscribers, followers, price or likes.

💜02. What activity counts toward each board?

Creators of the Day runs on points. Each counted click-through to your Fanvue page is worth 3 points, and each crush is worth 1. Repeat clicks from the same internet connection on the same day count once, so ten taps from one connection in a day still add 3.

Only creators with a score above zero can appear, and each tab shows the five highest scorers. The Today tab counts from midnight UTC. The This Week tab on the Creators of the Day page covers the last seven days on a rolling basis, so it has no fixed reset day.

Today's Crushes counts crushes tapped since midnight UTC. Most crushed of all time counts every crush since you listed, and only includes creators with at least one. Repeat crushes don't add up: each browser can crush you once, and each internet connection once per day.

Active Today lists creators who opened their FreeVues dashboard that UTC day, busiest first. Creators who shared their card that day go to the front, then the order follows how many of their own dashboard pages they viewed.

Top Referrers counts the live, visible listings that name you as the creator who referred them. A referral is recorded when a creator joins through your invite link, or types you in once in their Settings. Self-referrals don't count, and the referred creator must have connected their Fanvue account.

To see where you stand, open Leaderboards in your FreeVues dashboard, headed "Where you rank". It shows your real position on Creators of the Day, Most crushed of all time and Top Referrers, your progress on Active Today, and your points today.

💜03. Can you pay for a spot on the Leaderboards?

No. No one can pay for a Leaderboards position. FreeVues' pricing page lists Creators of the Day, Most Crushed, the other Leaderboards, search results, directory order and the Visibility Score under "What money never buys". Your Visibility Score is a separate dashboard checklist, and it doesn't change Leaderboards positions.

Promoted spots exist elsewhere, and they're labelled. Three homepage rows built from ranking data can each carry one bought front card a day, marked "★ PROMOTED". A bought card doesn't change the Leaderboards or the Creators of the Day page, and the homepage's Today's #1 slot isn't for sale. One honest detail: a fan's click on a promoted card still counts toward that creator's points, like any other click.

A lead earns you visibility. Today's #1 takes the first slot on the FreeVues homepage, labelled "Earned, not paid", plus a "#1 Today" badge on their card and profile while they hold the lead. The three highest scorers over the last seven days wear a "Top 3 This Week" badge.

Creators of the Day is labelled a Pro perk, and as of September 2026 the pricing page says Pro is free for every creator, with nothing on sale yet. The Creators of the Day page itself says it's free for every creator during launch.

💜04. How do FreeVues monthly round-ups work?

A round-up is a FreeVues blog article that lists Fanvue creators in one niche or tag, with a link to each creator. The Round-Ups page collects the published ones by niche. Apart from the monthly opt-in round-ups, a daily job publishes short round-ups automatically. Your FreeVues profile lists any published round-up you appear in.

You opt in from your dashboard, under Listicles (the dashboard's name for round-ups). There you'll see every open round-up that matches your main niche or any of your tags. Opt in, then answer up to five short questions in your own words. Invitations arrive as in-app dashboard notifications, never by email or push, and reminders land in your FreeVues inbox.

Opt-in round-ups follow a monthly calendar. Each niche's round-up opens on the 28th, opt-ins close at the end of the 7th, and articles can be published from the 8th. Editions are named for the month they publish in, so the batch that opens on 28 September is the October edition.

Opting in guarantees nothing. After the deadline, the FreeVues owner picks and orders each opt-in line-up by hand from the creators who answered, up to 25 per article by default. At least 10 creators must answer before an article can be written. If too few do, the round-up can close without one, and the answers carry into next month's round-up in that niche.

Your dashboard's advice is to answer early, since round-ups are filled from the answers on hand when they're written. Round-up opt-in is a Pro perk, free for every creator as of September 2026.

Round-ups also sit outside the "What money never buys" list. The front card on the Round-Ups page can be booked, and a booked card is labelled "★ FEATURED · PROMOTED".

💜05. Every board starts with a free listing

Both the Leaderboards and round-ups start with a FreeVues listing. Setting one up takes a single tap to connect your Fanvue account, which you approve on Fanvue's own screen. The card then fills in from your public profile details in less than a minute. It's free, it never expires, and FreeVues never sees your Fanvue password.

While you set up, give yourself a Fanvue tracking link called "FreeVues". Clicks and subscribers from FreeVues then turn up in your Fanvue dashboard, while FreeVues tallies clicks on your FreeVues dashboard too. Pick your niche and tags with care as well, because those decide which round-ups match you.

💜06. Where to start this week

Get listed, add your tracking link and set your niche and tags. Check "Where you rank" in your dashboard now and then, and note the 28th, when round-up opt-ins open. Answer early, keep showing up, and let the boards count what really happens.
