How to Get Listed on FreeVues in 5 Steps (and What We Ask Fanvue For)

FreeVues is a free directory of Fanvue creators. A listing gives you a safe-for-work profile page built to be found in search, placement on the niche and location pages fans browse, a spot in the daily roll call when you show up, and a dashboard with your real numbers. Here's the whole setup as it works today, including the part most guides skip: what the Fanvue permission screen actually means.

💜01. Step 1: Connect with Fanvue (no password, ever)

Tap "Get listed free" and you're sent to Fanvue's own login screen — the same way "Sign in with Google" works. You sign in on fanvue.com, not on FreeVues, so we never see or store your password. Fanvue then shows you a permission screen listing what FreeVues is asking for. You approve it once, Fanvue sends you back, and your card builds itself from your public profile: your handle, display name, photo, banner, bio and follower count.

💜02. What the permission screen is asking for, in plain English

Fanvue's screen lists every permission FreeVues asks for, in Fanvue's own words, and you approve them once. We use them to build your card and keep it fresh every day — profile, photo, price and stats — to create your FreeVues tracking link and read its numbers, and to read the insights Fanvue shares with apps you approve, such as your earnings rank among Fanvue creators. You approve it on Fanvue's page, so your password never leaves Fanvue.

One more thing worth knowing: for a normal listing, we don't keep the login at all. We read your profile, build your card, and throw the token away. There is nothing stored that could be used to reach your account later.

💜03. Step 2: The one-minute setup — quiz, niche, tags

Straight after connecting you land on your welcome page with three quick jobs. The match quiz is seven questions about your vibe and what you offer; fans take the mirror version, and your answers are what makes you show up in their matches. Then pick your main niche — it decides where you appear first — and up to four tags for everything else you're known for (Plus and Elite listings get nine). Honest tagging wins: a creator whose main niche matches a fan's browse ranks above one who only tagged it.

💜04. Step 3: Your FreeVues tracking link, in one tap

A tracking link is a Fanvue link with your name on it, so every fan FreeVues sends you shows up in your own Fanvue stats: clicks, follows, subscribers, earnings. Proof, not promises. You have two ways to add one. The one-tap way: press "Generate my FreeVues link" and we create a tracking link called FreeVues on your account for you. The manual way: in Fanvue, go to Creator Tools → Tracking Links, create one named FreeVues, and paste it into your listing. Both work.

💜05. Staying connected, and why it matters

Every FreeVues listing stays connected to Fanvue: the connection you approve when you join lets us refresh your stats and photo every day without you logging in again. To make that work we store the token pair Fanvue issues for you (a refresh token and a short-lived access token), encrypted. If we can't refresh your listing for 30 days — say you removed FreeVues in your Fanvue settings — it leaves browse and search until you sign in again, and your page stays up in the meantime. Remove your listing any time and both tokens are deleted the same second.

💜06. Step 4: Finish your profile

Your dashboard shows a Visibility Score out of 100 so you always know what's left. The points are simple: photo 10, bio 10, match quiz 15, tracking link 15, a call name plus niche, tags and socials 20, a spotlight blog post about you 10, staying connected to Fanvue 10, your first referral 5, and saying yes to social shoutouts 5. Two of those are worth doing today. Your call name is what fans get called to — on the fan side of FreeVues, pop-up chat bubbles introduce creators, and "Anya wants to chat" beats "anyacaress wants to chat." And your socials: FreeVues links up to twelve — Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit, Bluesky — and your dashboard shows which ones fans actually tap.

💜07. Step 5: Share it, and bring a friend

Your dashboard's share buttons give you a tagged link for each platform, so your stats page shows exactly which one sends you fans. Your referral link is there too: every creator who joins through it earns you referral points, and both of you get a listing that works while you sleep. And from the day you're listed, showing up on your dashboard puts you in the next day's roll call — a daily post of active creators with their tracking links — as long as you've added yours. No link, no spot: the post only carries links that count for you.

💜08. You stay in control

Edit your card any time. Retake the quiz any time. And if you ever want out, "Remove my listing" deletes your card and your data, instantly — no email, no waiting. We keep only your handle and Fanvue ID on a do-not-contact list, so we never add you back (our Privacy Policy lists the little else that stays).

💜09. One honest tip

Do the tracking link on day one, even before the socials. Everything else on FreeVues is about being seen; the tracking link is the only thing that proves what being seen was worth, in your own Fanvue dashboard, in numbers you can trust.
