How to Cancel a Fanvue Subscription (and What Happens Next)
Cancel a Fanvue subscription in five steps, keep paid access until your billing period ends, and dodge the renewal charge. Here's what happens next.
To cancel a Fanvue subscription, log in, open Settings, go to Payments & Subscriptions, click Manage My Subscriptions, then find the creator, click Unsubscribe and confirm. Fanvue's help centre says you keep access to a paid subscription until your current 30-day billing period ends. Cancel at least 1 or 2 hours before your renewal date, or the payment may already be processing and still go through.
Cancelling a Fanvue subscription takes five quick steps in Settings, and you don't lose access the moment you do it. Fanvue's help centre says you keep access to a paid subscription until your current 30-day billing period ends, with no further charges after that. Here's how to do it cleanly, with no surprise renewal.
๐01. How to cancel, step by step
Step 1: Log in to your Fanvue account and open Settings.
Step 2: Go to Payments & Subscriptions.
Step 3: Click Manage My Subscriptions.
Step 4: Find the creator and click Unsubscribe.
Step 5: Confirm when prompted. Fanvue says you'll see a confirmation message once it's cancelled.
Can't find the option? Make sure you're logged in to the Fanvue account linked to the charge. If no subscriptions appear, Fanvue's help centre says the subscription may already be cancelled, or linked to a different account.
๐02. What happens after you cancel
Nothing dramatic, at first. On a paid subscription, you keep access to that creator's content until the end of your current 30-day billing period. When it ends, you lose access to their subscriber-only posts and media.
Pay-per-view content you bought separately stays accessible after your subscription ends, unless the creator deletes it. Your message history stays in your inbox too, although depending on the creator's settings, you may not be able to send or receive new messages.
Missing them already? You can resubscribe any time from the creator's profile, and Fanvue says a new 30-day billing period starts from the date of the new payment.
๐03. Beat the renewal clock
Fanvue bills subscriptions in 30-day cycles from the date and time of your first payment, and they renew automatically unless you cancel. Its help centre says to cancel at least 1 or 2 hours before your renewal date. Leave it later and the payment may already be processing, and it will still go through.
Your next renewal date sits in Settings โ Payments & Subscriptions โ Manage My Subscriptions, next to each active subscription. Once a payment is being processed, Fanvue says it can't be stopped or reversed.
On a free trial? The same page shows your trial end date. Fanvue says a trial you don't cancel before it ends converts to a paid subscription, charged at the creator's standard price on the day the trial expires.
๐04. Unsubscribed but still charged?
Fanvue's help centre says this is almost always one of four things. You didn't cancel in time. The cancellation wasn't complete. The charge is from a different subscription you forgot about. Or it was a pending payment already in process when you cancelled.
Check the status of every subscription in Manage My Subscriptions, and make sure each one you meant to end shows as cancelled. Fanvue also suggests checking that you don't have other Fanvue accounts with active subscriptions.
Certain you cancelled in time? Contact Fanvue's support team with the transaction date and amount, the creator's account handle and a screenshot of your subscription status if you can. Fanvue asks you to do this before going to your bank.
๐05. Cancelling everything at once
Every active subscription is listed in Manage My Subscriptions, and you unsubscribe from each one individually. If you'd rather Fanvue's team cancelled everything for you, the help centre says to email support with your registered email address.
Deleting your fan account also cancels all active subscriptions, immediately. But Fanvue says deletion is permanent, you lose access to subscribed content straight away, and there's no reactivation. Amounts already paid aren't refunded. If that's really what you want, it's under Settings โ Account.
Taking a break, not a breakup? On FreeVues you can save listed creators to My Picks, no fan account needed. And Explore has a Free Trials button if you fancy someone new.

๐06. The bottom line
Cancel from Manage My Subscriptions as soon as you know you're done, and at least 1 or 2 hours before renewal, then check it says cancelled. On a paid subscription, you keep access until the billing period ends, pay-per-view you bought separately stays unless the creator deletes it, and you can resubscribe any time.
