โœจ Quick Answer

To get into a FreeVues round-up, list your Fanvue page free, then opt in from Listicles in your dashboard by answering that month's round-up questions. A round-up publishes once at least 10 creators answer. The line-up fills automatically: Elite first, then Pro, then everyone else, in random order within each group. Nobody hand-picks.

You get into a FreeVues round-up by opting in and answering its questions. Round-ups run every month for each niche, and there is always one edition open to join. When a round-up closes with at least 10 answers, the line-up fills itself in a fixed order, and no person picks who gets in.

๐Ÿ’œ01. What is a FreeVues round-up?

A FreeVues round-up is a blog post built around a single niche or tag, such as Girl Next Door. Every creator in it gets a link through to their page. The Round-Ups page, called "Round-Ups" in the site menu, gathers every published one, grouped by niche. Explore also has a row of monthly round-ups by niche.

Being in a round-up also stays with you on the site. A creator's FreeVues profile shows the published round-ups they appear in, under "Featured in". So one article can keep sending fans to your profile long after the month it came out.

๐Ÿ’œ02. How do you opt into a FreeVues round-up?

Step 1: Get listed on FreeVues. Round-ups are open to listed creators only, and listing is free.

Step 2: Set your main niche and tags in your dashboard. You're matched to every open round-up for your main niche and for each of your tags, so each tag is another round-up you can join. The pricing page lists a main niche plus up to 4 secondary tags on Free, and up to 9 on Pro.

Step 3: Open Listicles in your FreeVues dashboard. That's the dashboard's name for round-ups. You'll see each open round-up that matches you, and invitations arrive as notifications in your dashboard, not by email.

Step 4: Opt in and answer the questions, up to five short ones, in your own words. Answering is what counts: only creators who answered can be placed in a line-up.

๐Ÿ’œ03. When do round-ups open and close?

FreeVues round-ups run on a rolling monthly calendar. A new set opens on the 8th of each month and takes opt-ins until the end of the 7th of the next month. Opt-ins for one set close at the end of the 7th and the next set opens on the 8th, so there's always a round-up you can join.

Each edition is named for the month it's published in, not the month it opened. A set that opens on 8 October is the November edition. Published round-ups go live on the Round-Ups page from the 8th onward.

Your dashboard's own tip is to answer early, because round-ups are filled from the answers on hand when they're written. There's no reason to wait for the last week.

๐Ÿ’œ04. How are creators picked for a round-up?

FreeVues round-ups are filled automatically, and nobody hand-picks. First, a round-up needs at least 10 creators to answer before it can be published. Then the line-up fills with Elite creators first, then Pro, then everyone else. Inside each group, the order is random.

A round-up holds up to 25 creators by default. If more creators answer than there are spots, that order decides who's in. If fewer than 10 answer, that round-up isn't published that month, and your answers carry over into the next month's round-up for that niche.

So opting in puts you in the running, but it doesn't promise you a spot. In a popular niche, not everyone makes a month's line-up. If you miss one, a new set opens on the 8th of every month, so there's always another chance.

How do creators get Pro or Elite? You can earn either one or pay for it, so nobody is locked out. You earn Pro by finishing the 30-day Glow-Up Challenge in your dashboard. You earn Elite by bringing lots of other creators to FreeVues with your referral link.

Paying is the other route, once paid plans go on sale. They're waiting on Fanvue's billing for paid apps, and until that goes live, Pro is free for every creator. Round-up opt-in sits with the Pro features, so today every listed creator can take part.

Two things take you out of a line-up. A listing that's hidden is skipped. And if you remove your FreeVues listing, you're taken out of published round-ups too.

Round-ups are separate from the FreeVues Leaderboards. The Leaderboards rank creators on real activity, like fans clicking through to Fanvue and fans' crushes, and no one can pay for a position there. Round-ups run on opt-in answers instead, so a creator who listed last week can be in one.

๐Ÿ’œ05. How can you give yourself a better chance?

Pick your niche and tags with care. They decide which round-ups you're matched to, so tags that truly describe your page put you in front of the fans those articles are written for.

Answer every question, and answer soon after a set opens. A round-up can only be published once 10 creators answer, so every answer, yours included, helps that niche's article reach the page.

Keep an eye on your dashboard notifications. That's where invitations and reminders land, and where you'll see which round-ups are still open. Once a round-up has closed, FreeVues won't take new opt-ins for it.

Revisit your tags before each new set opens on the 8th. If your content has shifted, a tag that fits it now puts you into that month's round-up for it, and a tag that no longer fits sends you to fans who came for something else.

Keep your listing live and complete. A hidden listing is skipped, and a card with a photo, a bio and a Fanvue tracking link gives any fan who arrives from a round-up something to click.

๐Ÿ’œ06. Not listed on FreeVues yet?

Joining FreeVues takes one tap. It's a free directory of Fanvue creators, and it isn't affiliated with Fanvue. You link your Fanvue account, say yes on a Fanvue page, and your password stays with you. Your card then fills in from your public Fanvue profile in under a minute.

It costs nothing and never runs out, and there's no trial clock ticking. While you set up, add a Fanvue tracking link named "FreeVues", so any fans a round-up sends your way show up on your Fanvue dashboard. For everything else a listing does, see our For Creators page.

๐Ÿ’œ07. The takeaway: answer, and let the order do the rest

Getting into a FreeVues round-up comes down to three things you control: be listed, be matched by the right niche and tags, and answer the questions while the round-up is open. The rest is a fixed order that treats everyone in the same group the same way.

Quick answers

๐Ÿ’ฌHow do I get into a FreeVues round-up?

๐Ÿ’ฌDoes FreeVues hand-pick the creators in its round-ups?

No. Nobody hand-picks. Once a round-up closes with at least 10 answers, the line-up fills automatically: Elite creators first, then Pro, then everyone else, in random order within each group. A round-up holds up to 25 creators by default.

๐Ÿ’ฌDo I have to pay to be in a FreeVues round-up?

No. Listing on FreeVues is free, and paid plans aren't on sale yet because Fanvue's billing for paid apps isn't live. ๐Ÿ’ฌHow often are FreeVues round-ups published?

Every month, for each niche, as long as enough creators opt in. A new set opens on the 8th and closes at the end of the 7th of the next month, and each edition is named for the month it's published in.
