Is That Fanvue Creator AI? Here's the Tea
Fanvue labels AI creators with an AI tag in their bio. What it means, AI vs AI-enhanced creators, the rules, and what to check before you subscribe.
Look for the AI tag in the creator's Fanvue bio. Fanvue's help centre says it's required by law to clearly label AI creator accounts, and every AI creator has that tag in their profile bio. Check before you subscribe: if the AI label was visible when you subscribed, Fanvue won't refund you on the grounds that the creator is AI.
Look for the AI tag in their Fanvue bio. Here's the tea: Fanvue's help centre says it's required by law to clearly label AI creator accounts, so spotting one is straightforward. Every AI creator has an AI tag displayed in their profile bio.
๐01. What counts as an AI creator on Fanvue
Fanvue's help centre describes an AI creator as an account where the content is generated by artificial intelligence. That can be photos, videos, chat messages and sometimes voice.
AI creators are a fully recognised and verified category on Fanvue. The help centre says every AI creator account goes through the same verification process as human creators, so they aren't random or anonymous accounts.
Fanvue is open about it, too. Its help centre's About Fanvue article says the platform's mission is to empower every kind of creator, human or AI, and lists AI personas and AI-generated creators among the creators you'll find there.
As of August 2025, Fanvue's guide to AI-generated models described them as virtual characters or avatars created using artificial intelligence. They can be designed to look and behave like real people, or like entirely fictional beings.
๐02. AI creators vs AI-enhanced creators
It isn't always all-or-nothing. Fanvue says some creators are real people who use AI tools as part of their content or interactions, such as AI-enhanced images alongside their own content. These are sometimes called AI-enhanced creators.
Fanvue says all fans are required to check a creator's bio before subscribing, to confirm whether they're AI-generated or AI-enhanced.
๐03. The rules AI creators play by
Fanvue welcomes AI-generated and AI-enhanced media, as long as its rules are followed. Its policy says AI-generated media must not be used to create harmful or misleading content. It must not be of a real person other than the account owner.
Borrowed content is out as well. As of August 2025, Fanvue said it doesn't allow content taken from other websites or from other creators without their explicit authorisation. Its current policy adds that AI media must not infringe copyright, and the uploader is responsible for having the right to use and share it.
AI content also has to pass what Fanvue calls the Reasonable Person's Test, carried out by three or more members of its moderation team. A failed test means the content is removed, and multiple failures may get an account permanently suspended.
Breaking the guidelines can lead to a warning, removal, suspension or a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is. Fanvue also says it can remove content without notice if it breaks the rules.
On honesty, Fanvue's August 2025 guide was direct: an AI creator must disclose in their bio that the model is AI, and can't tell fans they're a real person in posts or chats.
๐04. Before you subscribe, and if something feels off
Refunds follow the usual rules. Fanvue says subscribing to an AI creator is a purchase of access to their content, and its standard non-refundable policy applies. If the AI label was visible on the profile when you subscribed, Fanvue won't refund you on the basis that the creator is AI.
Worth knowing, too: buying AI content gets you access, not ownership. Fanvue's help centre says purchasing AI-generated images, messages or other media gives you no rights over the underlying AI model, the content itself or any of its outputs.
Think a creator is AI but can't see a label? Fanvue asks fans to email its support team with the creator's username, and says it will look into it.
Finding creators to check out is the fun part. FreeVues is a free directory of Fanvue creators, and every listing is opted in by the creator or their agency. Browse Explore with no fan account needed, then tap Subscribe on Fanvue on a profile you like and read their Fanvue bio before you pay.

๐05. The bottom line
On Fanvue, AI creators are verified and labelled, and the label lives in the bio. Read it before you subscribe, enjoy whichever kind of creator makes your heart race, and flag an unlabelled account to support if something doesn't add up.
